Good Monday morning! Today is December 22, 2014. It is clear and cold outside at this time. A lot has happened since my last post here and since we are still getting ready for Christmas I will not have much time to update. If you follow me on face book you will already know. We have finally bought our own home! It has everything and more of what we wanted in a home. I may/may not have time to post a few pictures on here later.
Also this is the week for Open Door in Unity so we will be helping out there as well.,
What ever you may be doing today remember to BE a blessing to others.

Hello

Hello everyone! Wow so much time has passed! A lot has been going on in my life that has been difficult to deal with.

Dad, my rock, my strong, lovable father, went from strong - to sick and weak, to needing someone to stay with him 24/7,to going to a hospital, to being with my Lord, Jesus.

My family misses him greatly. The girls had a terrible time with their loss, but is understanding Grandpa is now with Jesus in heaven.

I will post more here later.

Sorry for the long absence.

Where has the time gone?

Sorry for the long time between posts. I have had members of my family sick the past few months and lost my Dad in April. I am slowly working my way back to the creativeness I so love. Please be patient with me as I recover.

Valentine Cards

Here are a few of the Valentine Cards I made. These were using Creative Memories papers. This picture shows 2 totes, one is filled with (ten) 3 inch by 3 inch Valentines. The other tote is empty with the cards on the table to show what each one looks like.

This picture shows more of the 3inch by 3 inch cards I made.

In this photo I have a set of cards with a decorated mailbox (I found the mailbox at Target in the dollar spot). I made a set of 12 cards to fit inside.

Here is the mailbox alone.

Making these cards are fun and easy! This is a good way to use up your scraps! It is so easy, that six of the daycare kids made 20 each in one afternoon!

May you be blessed.

New cards

I have been making some card sets that can be used for Birthdays.

Here they are all packaged up.

These are the last of my Christmas cards for 2009! You can click on any pic to enlarge.

Hope you enjoy!

I am planning some new card workshops for 2010, which includes new ways to package them. Makes them easier for gift giving (if you can part with them).

May your days be blessed.

Butterflies in Flight

This is just one card shown at different angles. I cut this out, used foam tape to add the 3-D effect and mounted it upon co-ordinating card stock.

Wanted to show you the depth and dimension of the wings and the flowers.

I added a frame of gold to enhance the overall look.

Of course I added glitter (stickles) to the wings. Don't be afraid of handling this beauty because of the glitter. The glitter is in the glue so it all stays on the card where you place it, not on you hands or clothing.

This is SO much prettier in person! Believe me. LOL. Don't we all say that?

If you would like to purchase this card or others, email me or comment on this post. I will get back to you ASAP.

May you have a blessed day.

Christmas Cards

Soon the Christmas rush will be upon us. The trees will be up and decorated, the children will be unable to sleep for the excitement of what Santa will bring. And we will be feverishly finishing up all the last minute details for the BIG DAY. Have you got your cards ready and sent out? Or do you want a special card to go with the special gift you got your Aunt Mabel? You are in luck, I have some done and ready to go!

Take a look at these beauties. I cut them out, placed foam tape for dimension, and glittered where needed (using Stickles, so the glitter will stay ON the card and not on your hands), and embossed the card stock. There you have it.

If you would like to purchase these, email me or leave a comment on this post and I will get back with you ASAP.

Hope you have a fun-filled Thanksgiving! God bless!
