Happy Mother's Day card

Here is a Mother's Day Card that measures 4 1/4 inches by 5 1/2 inches. This card has a matching envelopebox included. You may click on the photo to enlarge it.

When you untie the ribbon the card unfolds and shows not two sides on the inside but 4 sides. You can even add photos to this if you desire.

The greetings and the butterflies were stamped and colored with spica markers, which gives a sparkly shimmer to them. These photos do not do it justice, lots prettier in person.

The cost of this one is $7.50, with shipping extra.

This is the perfect card for the Mother in your life. If you are interested in this or any other card, please email me at katsscrapping@yahoo.com. I check my mail at least twice a day, so I will get back to you as soon as I read it.

Thank you for stopping by.

I'm back!

Finally! Whew! What a chore that was! So I finally called HP helpline only to find out the warrenty and expired over a year ago! Pretty cool I didn't need any help or parts since then. So, I ordered the parts and help for a year, and got the help I needed. It was about 4 hours and the problem was worked out.

Now all I have to do is upload photos of my cards, which will have to wait for another day or two. I have several things on my plate before I can do this. I will explain and show photos later.

I am now an instructor at the A.C. Moore in Bangor, starting in April. Yippee! I have more irons in the works as well and will tell you about them when the plans firm up.

Right now I have to get ready for a card workshop tomorrow, and for a crop this Saturday in Searsmont.

Have a blessed day

MIA

Sorry I have been MIA for awhile. My computer thinks it has a counterfeit Windows program. I have not had the time to call for directions on fixing the program, and I figure I will need at least an hour or two (maybe even more) of uninterrupted time to resolve this issue. Since I am not a computer techie (oh how I wish I was) it could end up being an all day thing. Groan!

When I get this thing up and running again, I can show pictures of the latest cards I have been creating.

Thanks for stopping by and have a blessed day.

Pink on pink

Pink flowers on pink card stock. This card measures 4 1/4 inches by 6 inches, comes with a envelopebox (because of the dimension of the flowers). The pink card stock is pierced, and the flowers are placed on an oval of pink with a mat of white. Pink half pearls are placed in the corners for a finishing touch.

Here is the side view to show the depth.

Yet another view of the front to show some of the details of this beautiful card.

The inside has a soft pink designer paper with a pearl finish. Looks really elegant and would be a beautiful card to show someone how special they are.

Here is another photo of the front of the card.
This card is $6.95 with additional shipping. If you are interested or have questions, email me and I will get back to you as quickly as possible.

Thank you for looking and have a blessed day

Hope

I have been busily working on numerous cards (for which I have NO pictures! Gasp) for someone this week, and it seems like the more I do, the more ideas I have for new ones.

Lots of times I will dream designs in my sleep (please tell me I am NOT the only one). Last night was a different kind of card. I do believe it was for me.

Let me tell you a little about my story first, so you will understand the importance of my dream.

Last month, my husband lost his job as his boss closed down the place where he was working. So not only did my hubby lose his job so did about 20 other people. While I believe that God has a plan for us, I still felt we were on shaky ground. You see, I do not work outside the home, the only income I have is my scrap booking and card making. I have yet to earn enough to support us with it.

Alright, so now back to my dream. I was making inspirational cards. On this one in particular I was making my own paper for this one card. I made up some red, yellow, blue, and green paper pulp to mold paper into letters. The red became the letter E, the yellow the letter P, the blue H and the green the letter O. While I was waiting for the letters to dry, I made a huge card to put the letters on. This was to be the largest card I have ever made, roughly about 8 1/2 inches by 11 inches. I was arranging the now dry letters onto the card to audition where I wanted the them to go. I stood back to get a better look at what I had done, and what do you think I saw there? In colorful letters large enough for me to see without my glasses, I saw the word HOPE. Hope! Well I smiled to myself and looked up to the heavens and told God, thank you. He was giving me hope! What a nice warm feeling that brings to my soul.

May you be blessed each and every day.
